Bike
A bike may also be referred to as a bicycle or cycle. This is human-powered means of transportation. It is comprised of two wheels attached to a frame. Riders of such vehicles are known as cyclists or bicyclists.
The history of the bike extends back a couple hundred years. The earlier incarnations of today's options were known as push bikes, hobby horses, and draisines. The draisine was created by Baron Karl von Drais. This was the first to make use of the concept of two wheels. It was first introduced to the public in the year 1817.
Today, bike ownership numbers at about one billion worldwide. In many regions, they are the principle means of transportation. In addition to this practical use, they also are enjoyed for recreational purposes.
