Bike Parts
Bike parts all work together in harmony to provide the bicycle's functionality. Different focuses will have different elements of the bicycle emphasized. It's basic parts include the frame, seat, handles, gears, pedals, wheels, and brakes.
In general, bicycles utilize upright seating, although recumbent designs also exist. This emphasis usually has bike parts arranged along a diamond frame. A front triangle consists of the head, top, down, and seat tubes. The rear one has part of the seat tube as well as chain and seat stays.
Different bike parts related to gearing may be good for particular riders and for particular applications. There is a narrow range of pedaling speeds for which a cyclist's legs will be most efficient. The differences in gear ratios allow bicyclists to keep at the optimum pedaling speed even as they cover varied terrain.
