Pocket Bike

A pocket bike is more commonly known as a minibike. Another popular term for this vehicle is the mini moto. Basically, these are miniature motorcycles which first showed up during the 1950s.

Generally, a pocket bike will use a four stroke engine, though some will use two. Electric ones are also not unheard of. The engine will turn the rear wheel with a chain. The engines most commonly selected are comparable the small, cheap ones used for yard equipment.

Pocket bike designs are rarely street legal. This is because unburnt fuel and thick blue smoke are both commonly released during operation. However, they are possibly legal on grassy areas that are not privately owned. Different countries and regions will have different laws related to their use.
